Mrs Sam Walklett

Mrs Sam Walklett

South West

Sam’s commitment to the health and wellbeing of all staff has been recognised by many. This nomination recognises the health and wellbeing programme Sam started prior to COVID-19, which includes the wellness days, the tea trolley and a number of other support events and services that have benefited so many staff across the organisation. We also want to recognise Sam’s work during the pandemic to support all staff through a number of resources.

Nominated by: Rt Hon Robert Buckland QC MP
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Sam has made a huge difference to fellow local NHS staff, leading the staff health and wellbeing programme. She has worked tirelessly, going above and beyond to make sure that all those working within the field have received exceptional support at this difficult time. (Rt Hon Robert Buckland QC MP)
