The Coln Ward based at Cirencester Hospital is usually a 28-bed semi acute community hospital ward. The team is led by Senior Sister Karen Fawcett and consists of 40 substantive staff including doctors, nurses, therapists, housekeepers, ward clerks and porters.

In March 2020 - during the pandemic, the ward became a 20-bed Covid ward which continued for 120 days.
