GP Community Pharmacist Consultation Service
The GP Community Pharmacy Consultation Service (CPCS) pilot started in July 2019 across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire and is the work of commissioners and the Local Pharmaceutical Committee. The service improves access to primary care for patients by referring patients who require advice and treatment for minor illness conditions from a GP Practice to a community pharmacist. The pilot has received positive feedback from patients and the healthcare professionals involved.
