Medical Assistant Team, Royal Stoke University Hospital

UHNM is one of the UK’s largest teaching hospitals and the medical assistant team was established to support its Emergency Department. Set up by Dr Andrew Davy and Dr Ruth Kinston, the team of medical students from Keele University, work alongside senior medics and its members are highly valued among nurses and consultants. Their job not only provides clear benefits to patient care but helps better prepare them to be the doctors of tomorrow.
